- Cabinets are made out of four structural parts, the panels,
and the backside
- The four structural parts are made out of natural hardwood edge-profiled
veneered and finished MDF particleboards.
 |
- In any cabinet panel be it a regular or sliding, the particle
board is always edge-profiled by a given thickness of natural hardwood, to
provide structural stability and a hard space for a superior screw-retention
capacity- The backside is made out of veneered and finished 8 mm thick plywood,
so as not to take a lot of depth, fitted with screws and roundels instead of
nails.
- Cabinet Panels, in general are made out of particleboard to provide
dimensional integrity and prevent warping and any movement natural hardwood may
induce, keeping in mind that natural hardwood doesn’t exist in flat sheets
wider than 30 - 40 cm.

- Standard Panel The use of MDF is standardized in this
type of panels, edge-profiled by natural hardwood.
- Sliding Panel The use of block board (surfaced with the choice of
veneer) over here is essential to provide sufficient lightweight ness
prolonging the life of the runners and sustaining the ease at which one is able
to slide the panels.
